Role Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Vice President (SVP) of Brand & Marketing to lead their marketing and brand/creative teams. Reporting to the CEO, this role is crucial in designing, implementing, and monitoring effective marketing and brand strategies that align with the company's business goals. The ideal candidate should be extremely comfortable in the digital space and have experience working for a digital direct-to-consumer brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall vision, leadership, strategy, and execution of all marketing and creative programs and initiatives.
- Lead the development and execution of innovative digital marketing strategies, leveraging expertise in SEO, web analytics, and digital marketing tools.
- Spearhead the implementation of data-driven marketing initiatives, utilizing CRM software and analytics to optimize customer acquisition and retention strategies.
- Drive the evolution of the brand's e-commerce presence, ensuring a seamless and engaging online shopping experience across all digital platforms.
- Design and execute omni-channel brand activations that generate brand heat and foster cultural connections, leveraging insights from market trends and consumer behavior.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies and partnerships that leverage the brand's unique position at the intersection of sports and pop culture.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across digital, retail, and wholesale channels.
- Guide the creation and implementation of performance marketing campaigns, focusing on ROI and KPI achievement across various marketing channels.
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing and launching new products, ensuring alignment between marketing strategies and product development initiatives.
- Mentor and develop the marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 12+ years of Marketing experience in an e-Commerce/DTC space.
- 8+ years of experience in leading and developing a team.
- Proven track record in scaling a DTC apparel brand, with demonstrable growth metrics.
- Experience in developing and maintaining brand identity and customer loyalty programs for apparel brands.
- Understanding of the underwear and loungewear market, including trends and consumer behavior (preferred).
- Expertise in digital marketing techniques specific to apparel, such as influencer partnerships and social media campaigns.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to make difficult decisions.
- Ability to collaborate well with cross-functional teams and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Compensation
- Base salary range: $300,000 - $325,000
- Performance-based bonus available
- Equity compensation package available
Location
- Must be able to be present onsite in the NYC Headquarters Office 3 days per week
