Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Strategy and Project Management to lead and drive the delivery of large cross-functional strategic initiatives at an enterprise level within their Brand Division. This newly created role will be responsible for defining the Enterprise Project Management operating model to support the strategic priorities and initiatives of the brand and business. The ideal candidate will bring strategic vision, leadership experience, and the ability to drive key initiatives forward while partnering with senior leadership across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and drive the strategic agenda of initiatives that enable the company's long-term and annual Brand Division's strategic priorities.
- Oversee the selection, initiation, and prioritization of enterprise projects on the strategic agenda.
- Develop governance philosophy, including structure, cadence, workplan approach, and program tracking.
- Drive and develop standardized project management reporting across strategic agenda initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify risks, create proactive solutions, and report to senior leaders.
- Lead the development and ongoing management of tools, processes, and governance to execute against strategic and business plans.
- Develop high-impact presentations and communication tools to communicate the strategic agenda across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, strategy, or related field.
- 8+ years of professional work experience in project management, strategic planning, and/or management consulting.
- 6+ years of project management experience and proficiency with project management software.
- Change management and organizational development experience.
- Proven track record of successfully directing cross-functional projects.
- Strong understanding of retail and consumer-facing businesses.
- Previous experience as a people manager.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to build strategic narratives and impactful executive-level presentations.
- Strong leadership, facilitation, and analytical skills.
Compensation
- Base salary range: $200,000 - $230,000
- Performance-based bonus available
- Equity compensation package available
- Seattle, WA (with global travel requirements). Relocation will be provided for the right candidate
