Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Director of Global Brand Strategy to lead their marketing efforts and drive brand growth. This role is crucial in shaping and executing the overall brand strategy across all markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic marketing, brand management, and a proven track record of driving business results through innovative marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall Global Brand Strategy, redefine the brand mission & vision, set objectives, analyze data, and drive improvements quantified with metrics.
- Create a framework for continuous optimization of marketing efforts to enhance brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth.
- Partner closely with the VP of Marketing and the marketing leadership team to create and implement robust brand strategies that align with overall business goals.
- Manage the global marketing budget, ensuring efficient financial planning, resource allocation, and the development of goals and performance indicators.
- Lead consumer insights, market research, and competitive analysis efforts to inform the development of strategic marketing plans.
- Develop and communicate short and long-term marketing strategies and brand plans, including seasonal support and activation roadmaps.
- Manage partnerships and agency relationships across marketing, ensuring standardized contracts and fee schedules are in place.
- Drive transformational programs that enhance return on investment, including the development of tools and systems to measure marketing effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in business strategy, marketing, brand management, or related fields.
- Strong background in developing and implementing brand and marketing strategies, setting targets and goals, and managing budgets.
- Proven track record in assessing marketing impact, setting objectives and key results, and conducting business evaluations.
- Excellent understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and digital marketing landscapes.
- Strong strategic thinker, able to anticipate industry trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in leading and mentoring high-performing marketing teams.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
Compensation
- Competitive base salary range of $170,000 - $190,000, commensurate with experience
- Performance-based annual bonus
