Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Vice President of Global E-Commerce to drive and oversee the development and execution of its global digital commerce strategy. This pivotal role will be responsible for leading growth across direct-to-consumer and marketplace channels, defining strategic direction, and shaping the brand’s digital presence. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership in scaling e-commerce businesses, with the ability to deliver exceptional results while fostering a seamless and engaging consumer experience worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
● Lead global e-commerce initiatives to deliver on revenue, margin, traffic, conversion, acquisition, and database growth goals while effectively managing investments and costs.
● Develop and implement global strategies that align with corporate objectives and drive sustainable, long-term growth across all markets.
● Define and execute the Americas e-commerce strategic plan, including channel positioning, market opportunities, and key enablers for success.
● Drive marketplace excellence through enhanced assortment, content strategy, operational efficiency, and consumer experience optimization.
● Partner with marketing, product, and customer experience teams to ensure a cohesive and engaging customer journey across all touchpoints.
● Apply a data-informed approach to identify market opportunities, track competitive trends, and craft strategies that maintain a leadership position.
● Build and lead a high-performing team while cultivating a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
● Develop and nurture strong relationships with key partners, customers, and internal stakeholders.
● Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, regulations, and standards.
Qualifications
● 15+ years of experience in e-commerce, with at least 10 years leading global strategy at the executive level within a consumer products environment.
● Proven ability to scale high-growth e-commerce businesses while delivering results through KPIs and metrics.
● Deep expertise in the e-commerce technology landscape and digital innovation.
● Strong leadership skills with a history of building and mentoring high-performing teams.
VP- Global E-Commerce
● Highly collaborative, with exceptional communication and influence across functions and geographies.
● Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving priorities.
● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Compensation
● Base salary range: $260,000 – $280,000
● Performance-based bonus available
● Equity compensation package available
Location
Seattle, WA (with global travel requirements). Remote with consistent travel to Seattle possible.
